PRIVATEER ROAMER 20

Originally built in Bellhaven, NC this gem was restored in 2020. The boat features a large in deck fishbox, 40 gallon gas tank, lean post with storage and rod holders and a 80 lb thrust Minn Kota I-pilot trolling motor. The boat gets plenty of power from a 2017 Yamaha 150 HP outboard. The boat can top out at over 40 mph while sipping gas.

The Rebuild

We purchased the boat in 2017 with the intent to rebuild it from the hull up. When we bought the boat she had seen her better days and was in need of a full overhaul.

We replaced all of the original stringers and deck with coosa board. The transom was also replaced during the rebuild leaving no doubt she will have another 30 years on the water!

We went with a new console that has a forward seat that allows us to have plenty of storage. Also installed were two Simrad GO series fish finders and stereo system.

Why Orange?

We went with the color orange to honor Angela who passed away February 16, 2022. With orange being the color for leukemia and her love for the water we saw it fitting to paint the boat this color.
