Captain Tripp Seed

Tripp grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia and spent most of his childhood fishing the Elizabeth River and Chesapeake Bay. He worked with other captains as a mate for years before opening his own charter business. Tripp loves to share his passion for the water and fishing with others!

Outstanding catches

Captain Tripp loves to put his clients on big fish! Tripp has earned Virginia saltwater fishing tournament citations in cobia, speckled trout, sheepshead, spadefish, tautog, red drum and sailfish. The biggest cobia to date is 85.6 pounds caught in 2015!

Tournament win!

Every year we enter in numerous local tournaments. In 2019 Tripp and long time friend Ryan Wood entered the East Coast Cobia Championship and won with a 74.05 Cobia. It was a tough day of fishing and they only got one bite throughout the day. The fish did not give up easily, wrapping himself in all the other lines that were out, took the crew around the boat four times, and broke the rod tip off when he wrapped up in the chum bucket. Luckily the hook never came out and we were able to land it!
